Dr. Amy Jakobe
I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and attended Ohio State for Vet School. After graduation in 2007 I migrated west to Phoenix (to escape the cold of course!) and spent over 3 years working as an emergency veterinarian. In 2011 I moved to San Diego where I worked at a large full-service veterinary hospital for over 2 years. Since returning to Phoenix in November of 2013, I have devoted most of my efforts to low cost veterinary care including surgery, dentistry and managing medical issues and have found this work very rewarding. Over the past couple of years I have travelled to Ecuador, Honduras, Suriname and the Dominican Republic with World Vets to spay and neuter dogs and cats in an attempt to fight pet overpopulation. I enjoy working at the Az Spay and Neuter Clinic and am devoted to treating your pet like my own. I have a 10-year-old French Bulldog named Bungee who adds humor to every day. In my free time, you will find me working out, attending local sporting events (Go Suns!), or spending time with family and friends. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
